2010 Fall Master's Message

My year as Master of the Lodge is now approaching the end. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the members of Washington Lodge #19 for their support and contributions to the Lodge as a whole, and to me personally. For those of you who know me, I never expected to become or even pursue the position of Master, however; through circumstances and encouragement from family members, and friends within the Lodge I was pleased to serve as an officer over the past years. I trust that I have served you all well and will continue to assist those who have both gone before me, and those that will follow. We have a Lodge to be proud of, full of a diverse and great group of brothers and friends. I continue to encourage those who have not been at Lodge recently to take the effort to join us; I believe you will be rewarded by the experience. For those members who I was not able to contact this year, I trust that you all have received Masonic wages of plenty, health and most of all peace during the 2010 season. If you have not or cannot attend Lodge due to health or distance, remember to keep in touch with us, or let your family know to contact us if you cannot. We are here to give you all help and support when needed, but unfortunately we are not always aware of everyone’s situation. Contact the Lodge or have your family contact us if you require help or encouragement, we will always try to assist you and your respective families. Again I hope you have all had a good year and I thank you for your help and assistance in making this year successful for the Lodge.
