Brothers, I would like to share a letter the lodge received this year: Gentlemen, Although residing here in Indiana my heart is truly with the Masons in Monroe. You are so very nice to keep in touch with Widows whose husbands belonged to your chapter. This does mean a lot. Forgive me for being so late in thanking you for your January letter –Keeping in Touch. Arthur would be pleased too. Best wishes to all in your lodge – keep up the good work. Betty Raeburn Sanford We are often tempted to believe the impact we have on other is so small. However, the small act of kindness to a brother or sister sometimes comes at just the right time for someone who needs it. Many of us stay absorbed in our business life, current events, and finances to the point we miss opportunities to brighten the life of other Masons, widows, and our own life at the same time. Remember you have hundreds of brothers out there just like you who are busy but willing to listen, lend a hand, or just be a friend when you need one. The only thing you have to do is come to lodge and get to know them. Fraternally, Kenneth Blake, Secretary For Edward Andrews, Worshipful Master |
