Brothers, The secretary is writing for the Master due to his busy schedule. As we all struggle to get through tough economic times let us remember what a blessing we have as Masonic members. When we struggle, we do not struggle along unless we are not communicating with our brothers. If you have not heard from your lodge lately, it may because you have not attended lately. We want to stay in touch with our brothers but most brothers go to work just as you do. Our brothers try to be good Masonic brothers in the few remaining hours of the day just as you do. If you are sick and your brothers have somehow missed it please call the Master or Secretary and let them know. Your brothers want to help. If you are struggling with some other need we also ask that you call the Master or Secretary and let them know. Your brothers want to know what they can do for you. Masonry is a wonderful brotherhood of friends caring about friends. If you have not experienced it lately please get more involved, we are experiencing it and we want you to be a part of it. Again, the Master’s program of having dinners before the Stated meeting has been a real success. This gives many brothers more time to spend together without staying late. Dinners start at 6:30 pm and lodge will open at 7:30 pm. Sincerely & Fraternally Kenneth Blake Secretary for Edward Andrews Worshipful Master |
