My Brothers, Our Year is off to a good start. We had an EA degree in February. At the March stated communication, we made our newly admitted brother a Fellow Craft and we read three candidate petitions. I have planned to make our Brother Fellow Craft a Master Mason at a special communications scheduled for April 26, 2008 at Ashlar of Newtown. Ashlar of Newtown was selected for this degree so that resident brothers of Ashlar of Newtown can participate and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship. Please see the Trestle Board Meeting & Events for further details. This year I would like to continue some of the programs we have enjoyed in the past. We intend to once again work with Masuk High School to select a worthy student to send off to college with a PC. We have done this for the past two years and we hope to continue it into the future. Additionally, we will be scheduling a CHIPS Program. The Child Identification Program is always well received and a very important event for anyone with children in our community. Last year we processed
58 children in Monroe and another 100 in Trumbull. I hope to see many of you at this event to assist in our work. |
